When did you start volunteering at PAWS?

I started volunteering at PAWS in October 2008.

What jobs/roles have you performed at PAWS?

I started my volunteering by entering data into the dog records in ASM. I soon got upgraded to scheduling cats and dogs to be spayed and neutered.

What do you currently do as a volunteer?

I recently began to show dogs at PAWS on Sundays. It makes me so happy to spend this time with a dog!

Why do you volunteer at PAWS?

I love Centre County PAWS. Because I am very allergic to dogs and cats, I am unable to have either one in my house. It makes me very happy to help the animals at PAWS.

When you're not at PAWS, what do you like to do with your time?

When I am not working on my PAWS work, I am at exercise classes, playing bridge, walking with my friends or walking my friend's dogs.

What do you like best about being a PAWS volunteer? What do you find to be the most rewarding?

Since I am responsible for making sure the cats and dogs are altered, I am very happy when they are ready to be adopted. It's a great day.

If someone asked you why they should volunteer at PAWS, what answer would you give?

Why should a person volunteer at PAWS? It is quite simple. No matter what the job is, it benefits the animals and ultimately their adopters.
