Work-Study Kennel Assistants
Centre County PAWS accepts work-study students to assist alongside our Kennel Assistants. Students who qualify for work-study and are interested in a position with PAWS, should work through their school's Office of Financial Aid to see if they qualify. PAWS is set up as a work-study location through Penn State University.
Volunteer Medical Interns
PAWS accepts applications for our semester long Pre-Vet Intern program approximately 2 months prior to the start of each semester. Candidates must have a strong desire to assist in a shelter veterinary setting and be available at least two weekday mornings per week for the duration of a complete semester.
