Rehome a Cat with PAWS

Centre County PAWS aims to help as many cats and dogs as possible. We do not euthanize animals for space, so we schedule all intakes in advance and are not a "drop-off" shelter. If you have reviewed our Rehoming Your Animal page and feel that you would like to work with PAWS on rehoming a cat, submit this form or email us. You may also call (814) 237-8722 to leave a message about surrendering an animal, but we strongly prefer tracking our surrender requests online.

Please bear in mind that PAWS rehomes only non-feral cats. PAWS or our friends at the Hundred Cat Foundation are more than happy to help with the spay or neuter and re-release of feral cats. Additionally, not all cats outside need a new home, they may be lost. Please see our lost and found page for more information.

Have you found orphaned kittens? Check out our info and resources on what to do if you find an orphaned kitten.

Cat surrenders are limited to individuals who live, work, or attend school full-time in Centre County.
