Front Desk volunteers are the face and voice of PAWS. Front Desk duties include meeting and greeting visitors to PAWS, mastering knowledge of PAWS policies and procedures, answering phones, taking dog / cat surrender information, and collaborating with volunteers from the cat and dog wings. Best of all you get to work alongside amazing PAWS cats and dogs!
The minimum commitment expectation for volunteers is 30 hours per year (1 shift per month on average). Weekly (regular) volunteers get the most out of their volunteering experience and tend to form close relationships with the animals in our care and with the other volunteers. The Front Desk team is unable to accommodate community service hours volunteers.
