What advice would you give to people interested in working or volunteering for PAWS?
Just do it. You will learn so much about yourself and the community that surrounds you; it’s an amazing experience. Even when there is a moment of doubt, the job is so rewarding, and the animals are a daily reminder that we can do this for them!
What you can usually be found doing outside of work?
In winter, you can find me snowboarding and cuddled up with my kitties; and in the warmer months, I enjoy pickleball, fishing, and camping. I’ve been to Ricketts and Watkins Glen, Cherry Springs, Ohiopyle, and even hunkered down in Rothrock State Forest!
What's the first concert you attended?
My first concert was George Thorogood with my mom at the State Theatre!
Anything else fun or interesting people might be interested in learning about you?
I tore my ACL playing field hockey in high school. I was an officer of the Altoona Ag Club for 2 years, where I helped manage social media and events, and engaged students and community members in agriculture!
