3 years
Your pets at home

1 dog - Binx
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I have 2 awesome kids, so when I am not working I am home spending time with them (and they keep me busy!) Whenever I get some time to myself, I enjoy watching reruns of my favorite comedy shows to unwind.
What’s your favorite meal/food/drink?
Meyers Dairy vanilla milkshakes always hit the spot!
What advice would you give to people interested in working or volunteering for PAWS?
PAWS is such a welcoming place, where people work together in so many different aspects to care for our animals and help them find their forever homes. You will get to spend time with wonderful animals and great people, make friends, and learn a lot. We have so many different volunteer opportunities, there is something here for everyone!
What is one of your favorite things to do within your role at PAWS?
It's hard to pick just one thing I love about my job! I enjoy spending individual time with our cats and dogs throughout my day, and working with our team to figure out that animal's specific needs. I like getting to be around so many hardworking, dedicated people each day who all have the same goal and want to help care for the animals. When we get to assist other rescues and our community with dogs/cats that may be scared or come from a bad situation, and take the time to make them feel safe with us and earn their trust, that's when I truly feel the most fulfilled with my job.
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
I feel I found what I was meant to do when I started working at PAWS, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else except working with animals!
