When did you start volunteering at PAWS?

August of 2018

What jobs/roles have you performed at PAWS?

Dog walker/handler and also training new volunteers.

What do you currently do as a volunteer?

I'm a level 3 dog walker/handler.

Why do you volunteer at PAWS?

I absolutely love dogs and have a huge heart for them. I cant stand to see homeless, mistreated and unwanted dogs or any animal for that matter. I love to take care of them during my shift and give them as much love an attention that they deserve! They love us humans unconditionally and were put on this earth to be loved by us and to be our companions.

When you're not at PAWS, what do you like to do with your time?

Spending time with my family and husband, as well as my kids and grandchildren! I'm also a full time physician recruiter during the day.

What do you like best about being a PAWS volunteer? What do you find to be the most rewarding?

Spending time with and loving the dogs. Seeing the dogs get adopted by a caring and wonderful family or person. Seeing them change once they are adopted to being happy and loved. Meeting and forming friendships with other volunteers who are likeminded!!!

If someone asked you why they should volunteer at PAWS, what answer would you give?

It's rewarding and grows your heart. You're doing something right and good in this difficult world, and you are making a huge difference in the life of an animal that just wants to be loved.
