I’ve been volunteering at PAWS for 8 years.
What's your favorite thing about PAWS?
I have many favorite things about PAWS, but I really appreciate the sense of community that PAWS fosters. It’s incredible to see how much time and effort both staff and volunteers dedicate to the animals PAWS serves and how we support each other through our individual work.
What's your favorite thing to do at PAWS?
My favorite thing is caring for the resident cats each week and learning their personalities. Fostering kittens and helping with the youth reading program are close seconds.
What can you be found doing when you’re not volunteering at PAWS?
Walking my dogs, baking, or gardening/cleaning up the dogs’ version of gardening.
Anything else fun or interesting people might be interested in learning about you?
Though I've adopted three pets from PAWS, I’ve technically only foster failed once, which I feel is real achievement.
