Time with PAWS
I have been with PAWS for about 6 years, about 4-5 years being a Kennel Assistant.
What can you be found doing outside of PAWS?
In my spare time, you will find me cheering on my 19 year old friend that drives his 305 sprint car at local dirt tracks.
What is something people might be surprised to learn about you?
Something people might be surprised to know is that I broke my arm playing basketball when I was younger and also broke my wrist playing soccer.
What is one of your favorite things to do within your role at PAWS?
Within my role, I love getting to see first hand how shut down an animal can be and with the appropriate comfort ideas how much an animal can open up even within a day or two. While volunteering here at PAWS, you not only get to work with people that basically become your family, but you become really close with the animals, the more time you spend here
If you weren't working at PAWS, what might you be doing?
If I wasn't in this role, I would probably work with kids as my career! I love seeing how children can grow just like the animals here at PAWS.
